The 3rd grade has been diving into fractions and it's great to see how engaged they are! They are able to take what they have learned in class and apply it to a fun fraction game with partners!

Mrs. Truscott’s class learned about the different types of chemical reactions this month from Mr. Donohoo (a parent dad and teacher at Spanish Fork High School). We love having parents come in and tell what about their careers in Utah!

Our adorable preschoolers look forward to Storytime each week with our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Donohoo! There's nothing better than sparking a love for reading at a young age!

Congratulation Mrs. A for receiving the Crystal Apple Award! We greatly appreciate all you do for us!

Save the Date for our Humphrey Celebration!

Just A reminder...no school on Monday. See you on Tuesday!

We are so proud of these students for Reaching their Potential and being the top 5th Grade Keyboarding Champions!

No School on Monday! No hay clases el lunes!

Taylor Elementary Inclement Weather Procedures
We recommend that students arrive at school no earlier than 8:30 for supervision purposes. Breakfast service begins at 8:45. The building will be open for students at 8:45. The stop sign in the lobby window will tell students if we will have inside or outside days.
Students should arrive dressed for the weather of the day so that they can safely and comfortably enjoy recess. In winter months, students are welcome to bring boots to change into for recess. All healthy children will be expected to go out for recess except in extreme weather conditions (wind chill, rain, snow, etc). A healthy dose of fresh air does wonders for a child’s ability to learn!
If your child cannot participate in recess for health reasons please send a note to this effect. If it is to be a prolonged indoor stay (longer than 3 days) please contact your child’s teacher.
Students will remain inside in extreme weather conditions such as: very cold temperatures (below 20 degrees), including wind chill, heavy rain/snowfall, unhealthy air/inversion conditions (we check air quality daily.)
Please label all coats, jackets, hoodies and other gear with your child’s name so that items can be easily returned when dropped or misplaced.
Please be considerate and safety conscious as you drop off and pick up students at school. The winter months see an increase in the number of cars. Remember to help with the flow of traffic by using the outside pick up lane for pull through only, keeping the crosswalk area clear, use parking stalls if you need to leave your vehicle or enter the building. Also, please remind your children to use the crosswalk. Safety is our number one priority!
In the event of a major weather event (severe storm, power outage, snow day late start…) Nebo School District’s iCampus notification system will be used to notify parents in the form of an automated phone call, text or email. For this information to reach you, it is important that you keep your contact information current within the iCampus system. Information will also be posted and updated on the Nebo School District website at www.nebo.edu

We are hiring a Special Education Resource Technician. You will be working directly with our two special education teachers. If interested, please apply.
